Our comprehensive in-home pet sitting visit services allow Pet Parents finally to embark on that long-overdue vacation. In-home pet care services are a wonderful, stress-free alternative to pet boarding, and the perfect solution for any of your travel plans.
When we say we care for everybody, from horses to hedgehogs, we mean it! In addition to dogs and cats, we routinely care for small animals, fish, birds, reptiles, and other household pets.

Small Pet Sitting Care Visit
A minimum 30-minute visit. An in-home care visit that’s a perfect fit for small animals, reptiles, birds and fish.
After your Intro Consult, schedule a visit via your Pet Care Client Account.
Partial Overnight (7:30 pm - 9:30 pm)
A 2-hour late-night visit. Customize with add-ons to suit you and your pup’s needs.
After your Meet & Greet, schedule a visit via your Precise Pet Care Account.
Overnight Care (7:30 pm - 6:30 am)
A full 11-hour overnight visit. We stay with your fur-babies all night. Includes feedings & medications, potty breaks, playtime, and litter box scooping (if needed).
Customize with add-ons, such as enclosure cleaning or grooming to suit you and your pup’s needs.
After your Meet & Greet, schedule a visit via your Precise Pet Care Account.
TLC Overnight (6 pm - 8 am)
A full 14-hour overnight visit for young, old, or anxious fur babies. We stay with your fur-babies all night. Includes feedings & medications, potty breaks, playtime, and litter box scooping (if needed).
Customize with add-ons, such as enclosure cleaning or grooming to suit you and your pup’s needs.

Enrichment Visits

Does Small Pet Care include a litter box clean?
Yes, we’ll scoop the box at each visit (as needed)! If the box is getting stinky, you can add a Litter Box Deep Clean to any care visit.
What's included in a Vacation Care Visit?
A Vacation Care visit starts at 30-minutes and includes –
- Feedings
- Potty Break
- Play-time!
- Medication Administration (if needed)
- Litter Box Scooping
There are a minimum of one visit a day for small animals. Elderly pets, or young ones may need 2-3 visits depending on their needs.
Are your sitter's familiar with handling small pets?
Yes! We are familiar with the proper care and handling needs for each small pet and species-specific care details.
For example, guinea pigs cannot be put in a hamster ball as this can damage their backs. And chinchillas have a floating rib cage and can not be picked up by their middles. They should be picked up (if they like to be), with a gentle butt scoop.
We can even provide nail trims for small animals (if they’ll allow it). Mostly, it just requires a little extra time and patience with the little ones.
Can you accommodate on-demand pet care requests?
Our clients are called “PetWise Pet Parents” for a reason!
We can usually accommodate on-demand care requests, for our established clients.
This does depend on availability! If you aren’t a current client, you’ll need a PetWise Introductory Consultation prior to booking any services.
We understand that life is ever changing. We’re here to help support you, and your pet. Our flexible scheduling generally allows us to fulfill on-demand pet care requests submitted through our client portal.
Do you offer specific visit times?
We offer two-hour visit timeframes to offer flexibility and best accommodate busy schedules.
- Morning Priority : 7 – 9am
- Morning: 9 – 11am
- Noon Priority: 11am – 1pm
- Afternoon: 1 – 3pm
- Evening: 3 – 7pm
- Evening Priority: 5 – 7pm
For specific or gaurenteed AM/PM care times, an overnight care booking is needed.
Do multiple people come out or just one sitter?
To ensure your pet’s care is always met, your pet may see 1-2 of our sitters per pet sitting stay. This allows us to provide backup care in case of emergency, and to allow our employees time off as needed.
The only exception is last-minute bookings, with less than a week’s notice, which are subject to sitter availability.
Do you provide care for pets that don't get along with male/female genders?
Not at this time. We’re not currently taking on any additional pets with specific gender aversions at this time.
We completely understand and want to help your pet feel as comfortable as possible. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
How do I communicate with my sitter?
All communication is done via our Precise Pet Care App or by office phone or email. Oh, and you get updates after EACH visit!
At PetWise, we keep you and your pet connected, even when you’re away from home! Our client software enables our Pet-Parents to follow along with their fur-fam’s care visits. Each PetWise care journal includes updates with GPS mapping for visits & dog walks, pictures from our visit, and sitter communication.

What's your cancellation policy?
Vacation Care is pre-booked to guarantee your dates on our calendar. Therefore, if a trip is cancelled in totality at least 48 hours before the start of care, a 50% Care Credit is applied to your account. This credit will automatically apply to any future visits.
Any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice before the start of care do not receive Care Credit.
What's your additional pet pricing?
There’s a +$5/visit for each additional pet.
For example:
A Cat Sitting Visit with a base price of $30 would start at $35/visit for two cats.
Are there any holiday surcharges?
Yes, holidays are some of the busiest seasons for us. In order to accommodate, schedule, and pay our sitters a fair wage for working holidays, there’s an additional charge (e.g. +$10/visit for pet sitting visits) during holiday care dates.

Can I extend my trip, once I've left, and add on additional care visits later?
Yes, though care is subject to our availability at time of request. We cannot guarantee a specific time or if the same sitter will be available; however, we always do our best to keep your fur-fam comfortable and well cared for.
How far out can I book vacation care?
As far ahead as you like! We recommend booking at least two weeks ahead of time to guarantee care. For busy holiday seasons, plan to book at least one month ahead (or as early as you are comfortable)! The calendar fills up fast.
