PetWise Professionals is actively involved in our Moore County community. We love our local community and want to give back to Pinehurst and the surrounding areas in every way we can.

Donation Drives
Supporting local groups and pets
We are a family that cares. We want to see each pet flourish and be well provided for. Quarterly, we’ll run pet food and supplies donation drives to help give back to the pets within our community.
Currently, we donate to the Moore County Animal Shelter, Caring Hearts For Canines, Paws Of The Pines, and The Coalition For Human Care’s Food Pantry for those in need.

Pet Booths
Raise money & support local adoptables
Everyone loves a good pet photo booth! And what better way to have fun, while raising money for a great cause?!
Take photos with your phone for free, or get two pawsome Polaroid pictures of your pet with any $5 or more donation to Paws of the Pines. 100% of proceeds go to support local pets in need!
We host a series of pet-tastic holiday photo booths at our local Pet Supermarket in Southern Pines and other local businesses to help support our local pet shelters.

Pet Gift Bags

PetWise cares about creating the best possible start for new pets and their pet parents so they can flourish.
We provide starter gift bags for new pet parents to assist with their newly adopted cats or dogs.

Paint a Pet Rock
For Local Retirement Home Residents
We understand that making such a large life change, and not being able to bring your furry family member with you, is challenging. Our “Paint a Rock” program encourages Moore County locals to spend time acknowledging that change.
Through our FREE painting workshops, MoCo residents can paint a pet rock, name it, and write a short note to someone moving into a retirement home.

Also, we now provide In-home Retirement Pet Care Services, because pets are a life-long commitment and should be able to stay with their people.
Cat-tastic Local Support
Supporting Local TNR Programs For Cats
If there’s one commonality about us, apart from providing amazing pet care 😉, it’s that we LOVE to support local. And our local rescue groups are no exception.
The growing Moore County feral cat population poses a threat to the overall wellbeing of those same cats. And we’re here to help. Through our support in partnering with local cat TNR programs, we aim to provide every cat possible with a healthy lifestyle or loving home.

Adopt from a local shelter and get a $20 Credit for PetWise Services
Every pet deserves a loving home. Our core values led us to encourage pet parents to welcome new family members into their homes.
We offer a $20 care credit, good for any PetWise pet care service, with proof of new pet adoption. As if you need another excuse to adopt. 😉
Note: Must be located within PWP’s service areas to redeem care credit. Limit one per household.

Raffle Baskets
For our Local Animal Shelters & Pet Rescue Groups
YPCC is always looking for new ways to plug into the community. We make a point of shopping at small local businesses, such as Cared For Canine & Cat, for our donation baskets and always have our nose to the ground for new opportunities to donate to other local non-profits.
We currently donate pet gift baskets, to be raffled off, to The Sandhills Dog Fair, Woodstock, Hogs For Dogs @Cox Double Eagle In Pinehurst, Moore County Animal Shelter’s Paws For A Cause, and other local pet rescue groups upon request.

Our small local team of pet care specialists are excited to offer you a complete list of in-home care services. We proudly offer services ranging from daily dog walking visits to overnight care.
The awesome part is that you can tailor the care services to meet your pet’s daily and vacation needs. Add time in 15-minute increments, or add-on services to an existing visit, such as nail trims or baths.
We provide pet care in Pinehurst and the surrounding areas for furry, scaly, and feathered friends.
