We’re well-known for reliable in-home pet care for Pet Parents with demanding schedules.
That’s why our most popular weekday care service is, by far, is our 30-minute dog walking service. Many hardworking Pet Parents, just like you, understand the importance of keeping their dog happy, healthy, and on routine with regular weekday exercise.
PetWise Professionals’ (PWP’s) dog walking service offers your fur-family the perfect mid-day break around your yard or neighborhood. In the event of rain or inclement weather, our PetWise Pros are trained to switch to quick potty breaks and mentally enriching playtime!
Customize your doggo’s walk by adding time in 15-minute increments, adding additional pets (yes, we can walk both your dogs!), or grooming – like nail trims, baths, or brushing add-ons as you need them.
After your PetWise Introductory Consult, schedule a visit via your Client Account.

Ensure that your pup gets their essential mid-day break, ensure their well-being, and enjoy the daily updates of their cute snoot to boot! Our visits have lots of perks, including:

- GPS-tracked walk routes for added assurance
Schedule visits as needed or join a pup club for weekly discounts. We do offer on-demand care requests though, not to bark about it, we’re pretty paw-pular ;). Any visit requested less than 48 hours in advance is subject to availability.

Do you offer as needed Dog Walks?
Yes, we offer care services as you need them. We also offer multiple PetWise perks through our Happy Pup Clubs, for clients who need regular care services.
We know that schedules can change, and we’re here to help. Whether you’re booking week-to-week or annually, PWP has care services to fit your busy schedule.
Do you only offer 30 minute Dog Walks?
No, you can schedule a 30, 45, or 60-minute walk! The minimum time is 30 minutes with add-ons to best accomodate you and your pets’ needs.
Can you accommodate on-demand requests?
Our clients are “PetWise Pet Parents” for a reason ;).
Yes, we can usually accommodate on-demand care requests for established clients.
This does depend on availability. If you aren’t a current client, you’ll need a PetWise Introductory Meeting prior to booking any services.
We understand that life is ever changing. We’re here to help support you, and your pet. Our flexible scheduling generally allows us to fulfill on-demand pet care requests submitted through our client portal.
Do you offer specific visit times?
We do for our PetWise Intro Consults, or Scheduled Vet Taxi. For other services, we offer two-hour visit timeframes to offer flexibility and best accommodate busy schedules.
For specific or guaranteed AM/PM care times, OTHER THAN SCHEDULED CONSULTS OR PET TRANSPORT, an overnight care booking is needed.
Do multiple people come out or just one sitter?
To ensure your pet’s care is always met, your pet may see 1-2 of our sitters per pet sitting stay. This allows us to provide backup care in case of emergency, and to allow our employees time off as needed.
I have a large breed dog. Can your sitters handle them?
Yes, absolutely! We’re experienced with larger pets. We routinely handle 150lbs+ pets, and even offer farm and equine care.
How do I communicate with my sitter?
All communication is done via our Precise Pet Care App or the office phone. Oh, and you get updates after EACH visit!
At YPCC, we keep you and your pet connected, even when you’re away from home! Our client software enables our pet-parents to follow along with their furry family members’ visits. Each YPCC care journal includes updates with GPS mapping for dog walks, pictures from our visit, and sitter communication.

What's your cancellation policy?
Daily or one-time visits cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be invoiced at our usual rate. There’s no charge, for weekly care services, with more than 48 hours notice of cancellation.
What's your additional pet pricing?
There’s a +$5/visit for each additional pet. For example, a Dog Walk for two dogs would start at $35/visit.
Are there any holiday surcharges?
Yes, holidays are some of the busiest seasons for us. In order to accommodate, schedule, and pay our sitters a fair wage for working holidays, there is an additional + $10/visit during holiday care dates. See our holiday calendar to plan accordingly.
