Our comprehensive in-home pet sitting visit services allow pet parents to embark on that long-overdue vacation. In-home pet care services are a wonderful, stress-free alternative to pet boarding, and the perfect solution for any of your travel plans.
From dogs and cats to small animals, fish, birds, reptiles, and other household pets, our care extends to various species.
No matter your pet’s requirements, we’re here to provide exceptional assistance and ensure their well-being throughout your time away.

Vacation Care
A minimum 30-minute visit. An in-home care visit for dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, birds and fish.

Partial Overnight (7:30 pm - 9:30 pm)
A 2-hour late-night visit. Customize with add-ons to suit you and your pup’s needs.

Overnight Care (7:30 pm - 6:30 am)
A full 11-hour overnight visit. We stay with your fur-babies all night. Includes feedings & medications, potty breaks, playtime, and litter box scooping (if needed).
Customize with add-ons, such as enclosure cleaning or grooming to suit you and your pup’s needs.

TLC Overnight (6 pm - 8 am)
A full 14-hour overnight visit for young, old, or anxious fur babies. We stay with your fur-babies all night. Includes feedings & medications, potty breaks, playtime, and litter box scooping (if needed).
Customize with add-ons, such as enclosure cleaning or grooming to suit you and your pup’s needs.

Enrichment Visits
Choose a 1-hour or 3-hour visit. The perfect blend of engaging pet playtime, mental stimulation games, and all the love & snuggles for your fur baby during their in-home “staycation”.

Does Vacation Care include a litter box clean?
Yes, we’ll scoop the box at each visit (as needed)! If the box is getting stinky, you can add a Litter Box Deep Clean to any visit.
What's included in a Vacation Care Visit?
A Vacation Care visit starts at 30-minutes and includes –
- Feedings
- Potty Break
- Play-time!
- Medication Administration (if needed)
- Litter Box Scooping
There are a minimum of one visit a day for small animals. Elderly pets, or young ones may need 2-3 visits depending on their needs.
Are your sitter's familiar with handling small animals?
Yes! We are familiar with the proper holding posture for each small animal and species-specific care details.
For example, guinea pigs cannot be put in a hamster ball as this can damage their backs. They should be picked up (if they allow it), with a gentle butt scoop.
We can even provide nail trims for small animals (again if they’ll allow it). Mostly, it requires a little extra time and patience with the little ones.
Can you accommodate last minute requests?
Usually yes, but it depends on availability. If you aren’t a current client, you’ll need a Meet & Greet prior to booking any services.
We know that “oops” happens sometimes, too. Our flexible scheduling generally allows us to fulfill last-minute requests submitted through our client portal.
Do you offer specific visit times?
Yes, but only for pets with medication needs, and there’s an additional $10/visit to schedule a specific time. Otherwise, we offer time blocks to offer flexibility and best accommodate busy schedules.

Do multiple people come out or just one sitter?
To ensure your pet’s care is always met, your pet may see 1-2 of our sitters per pet sitting stay. This allows us to provide backup care in case of emergency, and to allow our employees time off as needed.
The only exception is last-minute bookings, with less than a week’s notice, which are subject to sitter availability.
My pet doesn't get along with Male/Female sitters, can you help me?
Yes, your pet can be cared for by a specific gender identifying care specialist if your pet has any aversions or concerns.
We completely understand and want to help your pet feel as comfortable as possible. Please let us know when booking your meet & greet visit, how we can help!
How do I communicate with my sitter?
All communication is done via our Precise Pet Care App or the office phone. Oh, and you get updates after EACH visit!
At YPCC, we keep you and your pet connected, even when you’re away from home! Our client software enables our pet-parents to follow along with their furry family members’ visits. Each YPCC care journal includes updates with GPS mapping for dog walks, pictures from our visit, and sitter communication.

What's your cancellation policy?
Vacation Care is pre-booked to guarantee your dates on our calendar. Therefore, if a trip is cancelled in totality at least 48 hours before the start of care, a 50% Care Credit is applied to your account. This credit will automatically apply to any future visits.
Any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice before the start of care do not receive Care Credit.
Is there any extra charge for more than one pet?
Yes, there is a +$5/visit per additional pet. For example, a Dog Walk for two dogs would start at $35/visit.
Are there any extra holiday surcharges?
Yes, holidays are some of the busiest seasons for us. In order to accommodate, schedule, and pay our sitters a fair wage for working holidays, there is an additional + $10/visit during holiday care dates. See our holiday calendar to plan accordingly.
I'm going to be gone an extra day, can I add on additional visits later?
Yes, however they are subject to sitter availability. We cannot guarantee a specific time or if the same sitter will be available; however, we always do our best to keep your fur-babies comfortable.
How far out can I book vacation care?
As far ahead as you like! We recommend booking at least two weeks ahead of time to guarantee care. For busy holiday seasons, plan to book at least one month ahead (or as early as you are comfortable)! The calendar fills up fast.
