Hi there, my name is Max. Trust me, it’s no understatement when I say that “animals are my life”!

I have always had pets growing up. I’ve grown from a child with a passion for pets to an enthusiastic animal-loving adult. I love learning about and understanding all different types of animals.

My experience in pet care began with having my own pets and progressed to caring for family friends’ pets, volunteering over the years, and now with working with YPCC.

I currently have a golden retriever, named Lilo, who loves playing fetch and going on walks with me every day.

I am so excited to be a part of the YPCC’s great family, and I can’t wait to meet all the awesome pets and learn about their unique needs!

Hi, my name is Steven. I’ve always believed pets aren’t just animals, they’re family, paws down. 🐾

I grew up in a family that trained dogs, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding behavior and building trust.

Today, I share my life with Spice, who is intelligent, loving, and has taught me so much about working with pets who have anxiety or can be reactive. That experience has made me extra patient and understanding, because I know every pet has their own unique personality and needs.

I love learning about each animal whether it’s a favorite toy, a silly quirk, or just a good belly rub. My goal is to make sure every pet I care for feels safe, loved, and treated just like one of my own.

I’m exited to be part of YPCC’s team and can’t wait to meet your fur babies because caring for pets isn’t just a job, it’s a real treat! 🦴

Hello there! My name is Erica. I grew up around all types of animals included but not limited to: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, birds, frogs, newts & horses. I’ve had a love for learning and taking care of animals ever since I was little such as how to read their body postures and language so that they could have a great quality of life.

I have quite the fur family myself with 3 dogs (Willow – Shepard/Lab mix, Scrappy – Chi-Poo & Chance – Pitbull), 4 cats (Dank & Double – Tuxedo, Cosmo – Grey Tabby & Trixie – Siamese). Also, I have a 70 gallon fish tank filled with African Cichlids and two leopard geckos (Choji & Jellybean).

My experience comes from caring for my own fur/scale babies and through voluntering at shelters over the years. My aunt also had a farm where she tamed and rehabiliated horses. She let me help and learn to love these beautiful creatures.

I am so excited to be part of YPCC’s (now known as PetWise Pros) team! I look forward everyday to the opportunity to meet, care & love on sweet fur babies.

Hey, my name is Georgia. I graduated from Pinecrest High School, and am proudly pursuing an undergraduate degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Veterinary Medicine from NC State University (GO PACK)!

To say I have a genuine passion for animals would be an understatement. I have held on to this love of animals through all of my endeavors, but especially through the intership I pursued in receiving my certification as a Veterinary Assistant over the last 10 months. 

I hope to contribute all I have learned into providing the best possible care and support to your furry family members, and so much more!!

I’m Katana, it’s a pleasure to meet you. As a pet lover and caretaker, I look forward to building a lasting connection with you and your fur babies. My current companions are – four cats: Jake (gray tabby), Dodge (orange tabby), Pounce (orange tabby), Dusty (gray tabby), Peanut (calico), Remmy (Corgi/Shepard mix), and my husband-creature.

I’m fortunate to have 20 years of experience with pets and animals, from cats and dogs to exotic animals such as guinea pigs, lizards, birds, and occasionally dramatic plants.

I believe we should strive to improve and learn, to provide the best care for our companions every day. They may be only a part of our lives; however, we are often the majority of theirs. I aim to provide as much love and care as the joy we get from their companionship.

I’m proud to be part of YPCC’s fantastic team of pet care professionals, and I am excited to be able to welcome new pets into our YPCC family every day!
